Emergency First Aid at Work
HSE approved under licence first aid at work course.

Widely known as an appointed persons training course, this 1-day (6 hour) course provides candidates with basic first aid knowledge, to assist in an emergency, in the workplace.
Candidates who are successful in completing the Emergency First Aid at Work training course will receive a certificate, which is valid for 3 years.
Emergency First Aid at Work Course packs will be issued to each candidate at the beginning of the course. This pack includes a first aid manual, which should be used for reference during and after the course.
The Emergency First Aid at Work
qualification covers the following topics:
- Task of the first aider
- Priorities of treatment
- Initial Assessment
- Mouth-to-mouth ventilation
- Obstructions of airway
- First Aid to the non-breathing casualty
- First Aid to the choking casualty
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Recognition of Shock and Bleeding
- Incident Management
- Heart Attack

This is an intensive 3-day (18hour) course.

First Aid at Work Requalification
This 2-day (12 hour) course is designed for first aiders who need to re-validate their First Aid at Work qualification before the expiry date.

This is a 1-day (6 hour) course
